Index Groups is introducing Point Service by using ‘Edy Card’ for ‘E-point Collection Epocole’ at MOS Burger.

We have developed ‘point service’ for consumers in any MOS burger branches in Okinawa. Consumers may use Edy card when making purchase at MOS burgers and accumulate points to exchange for favorite hamburger eventually.

The subsidiary of Index Holdings (President: Mr. Susumu Tsubaki Head Office Location: Setagaya-ku Tokyo, in short, Index Holdings), Index Okinawa Corporation(President: Mr. Tomoaki Kurita, Head Office location at Urasoe-shi, Okinawa. in short, Index Okinawa) and Index Corporation (President cum Director, Ms. Yoshimi Ogawa, Head Office location at Setagaya-ku Tokyo, in short: Index) has worked together with MOS Food Services Inc (President and CEO, Mr. Atsushi Sakarada, Head office Shinjuku-Ku Tokyo) to launch ‘Mobile Point Club for MOS Burger’ in the whole of Okinawa with effect from 13 February 2007.

‘MOS Mobile Point Club’ which is developed by Index known as Electronic Money Service (Edy), is introducing ASP Point Services (E-point collection Epocole, in short Epocole) to provide Edy Support Service to all the affiliate MOS burger stores (Edy Point Network).

The Development for MOS Mobile Point Club

One of the group companies of Index Okinawa, Index, is providing support services to affiliated shops with Edy Point Network as a recognized solution vendor. With years of knowledge in solution and know-how for mobile web, we will be able to venture into more business areas, major shopping malls and resort facilities with Edy Point Card Solution ‘Epocole’.

As proposed by us, MOS food has introduced E-point collection (Epocole) as means of convenient mobile solution for their customers in all the MOS burger shops in Okinawa. They have made used of mobile and electronic money as their new marketing effort with ‘MOS Mobile Point Clubs’ effectively.

MOS Mobile Point Club

‘MOS Mobile Point Club’ is usable in any MOS burger branches in Okinawa as long as they registered themselves as a member for the service. After registration with ‘MOS Mobile Point Club’, points can be automatically accumulated. A point will be added with every \500 of purchase using Edy card. As soon as consumers accumulated 10 points, they are entitled to exchange for a ‘Hamburger Exchange Voucher’ which MOS burger will inform them by mails. Consumers may use their mobile phone to check the number of points accumulated too.

Future Undertakings

We will be actively expanding ‘Epocole’ at shopping areas, public organizations, major retailers and supermarkets, major shopping malls and any major events. Furthermore, we are going to develop new services for business operations and facilities regionally. With the knowledge of service know-how in mobile web, better mobile solutions can be provided to our customer.
